VAT) for 1\/3 of a 60cm wide 19&#8243; rack, including 0,5 kW redundant power<br \/>\n&#8211; \u20ac 910 \/month (excl. VAT) for 2\/3 of a 60cm wide 19&#8243; rack, including 1 kW redundant power<br \/>\n&#8211; \u20ac 1.165 \/month (excl. VAT) for a private 60cm wide 19&#8243; rack, including 1,5 kW redundant power<br \/>\n&#8211; \u20ac 1.440 \/month (excl. VAT) for a private 80cm wide 19&#8243; rack, including 1,5 kW redundant power<\/p>\n<p>Nikhef does not charge additional installation fees for standard racks.<br \/>\nRedundant power is mandatory, additional PDUs are mandatory from 4 kW and up.<br \/>\nNikhef does not charge separately for normal power usage.<\/p>\n<p>An example of the rental agreement can be downloaded here:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/barm.nikhef.nl\/housing\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/@HUUROVEREENKOMST-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dutch version<\/a> (legally binding)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/barm.nikhef.nl\/housing\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/@LEASE-AGREEMENT-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">English version<\/a> (certified translation of the Dutch agreement)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please do not send this agreement to Nikhef, on request Nikhef will send one to you.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><em><strong>Additional services<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n<h5>Patching<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>private peering, point to point connection: we charge a one time installation fee of \u20ac350 (excl. VAT) for a fiber connection (up\/down) and \u20ac470 (excl. VAT) for a UTP connection. Patch requests are to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nikhef.nl\/housing\/customer-portal\/patch-request\/\">entered online<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Remote hands<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Nikhef offers remote hands during office hours only, see <a href=\"https:\/\/barm.nikhef.nl\/housing\/customer-portal\/remote-hands\/\">customer portal\/remote hands<\/a> for possibilities.<br \/>\nPrices for standard activities are listed <a href=\"https:\/\/barm.nikhef.nl\/housing\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/2026-Rack-and-powerprices-4kW.pdf\">in our price list<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><em>Fiber connections to other Amsterdam Science Park sites<\/em><\/h4>\n<p>Fiber connections between the AMS-IX sites Nikhef and Digital Realty AMS9 (Science Park 121) and AMS17 (Science Park 120) are managed by Digital Realty. For information please contact <a href=\"mailto:crossconnectsnl@digitalrealty.com\">CrossConnectsNL@digitalrealty.com<\/a> or phone <a href=\"tel:+44(0)2073757070\">+44(0)2073757070<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Patches between the Digital Realty AMS9 and AMS17 fiber panels and Nikhef customer racks need to be requested separately by the customer by <a href=\"https:\/\/barm.nikhef.nl\/housing\/customer-portal\/patch-request\/\">patch request<\/a>. It\u2019s not allowed for customers to carry out this patch themselves.<\/p>\n<p>Fiber connections between Nikhef and the Amsterdam Science Park co-location facility of Equinix AM3 Amsterdam Science Park are managed by Equinix. For information please contact <a href=\"tel:0031208080015\">+31 20 808 0015<\/a>. Patches between the Equinix fiber panel at Nikhef and the customer rack need to be requested separately by the customer by <a href=\"https:\/\/barm.nikhef.nl\/housing\/customer-portal\/patch-request\/\">patch request<\/a>.
